Who We Aren’t

Sometimes it is easier to define who you are by clarifying who you’re not. Andrew Harris, founder and president of Evergreen Wealth Solutions, has known for years who he isn’t.

Andy isn’t a salesperson — he’s a financial professional. He isn’t interested in transaction-based accounts — he’s always focused more on relationships and outcomes for his clients. And after 15 years in the industry, he quickly discovered that he wasn’t destined for any of the dozen-plus options he had considered leaving his large firm for.

Our Beginnings

Instead, Andy decided to build his own team of financial professionals who would share those same values. Through the years, he encountered other financial professionals who not only had the same values but also possessed skill sets that he envisioned would work well together serving clients in an ensemble practice.

In 2009, he met Martin Wildy, CFA, and worked with Martin as an outsourced Chief Investment Officer. In 2010, Andy hired Michael Kolb CFP®,  who is instrumental in the firm's asset management and financial planning.

A Growing Ensemble


Having built the infrastructure, Andy wanted to build an ensemble practice with other high quality advisors. Jim Dinsmore CFP®, CLU®, joined after a successful 34 year career with Liberty Mutual Insurance and as risk manager and independent financial advisor. Ed Barone, CBEC, with over 20 years’ experience, joined EGWS in 2018 after 10 great years with Wilmington Trust working with high net worth clients and business owners.  

Andy and his team are fiduciaries, a group of experienced professionals who are committed to always putting their clients' interests first. They're not sales people. They sincerely value their relationships with the people they serve.
